Chiltern PSC also provides SAP energy rating calculations and Energy Performance Certificates (EPC) for new dwellings, new dwellings created through conversion and property with new extensions with 25% additional glazing along water efficiency calculations.

New Build L1A
(SAP)
We offer a comprehensive support service from Design to As Built Stage, and provide advice on how to gain the SAP pass. Whether a self-build project or large development, we can guide you through the SAP process from start to finish.
Conversion L1B (SAP)
If your project is to create a new dwelling through a change of use (i.e the conversion of a building to dwelling or even by creating a greater or lesser number of dwellings or other residential units within an existing building) then your Building Regulation application will require a Part L1b SAP Calculation.
Extension L1B
(SAP)
Building Regulations Part L1B require that areas of new glazing should account for no more than 25% of new floor area and for the modern Highly Glazed Extension that is not compliant with the Part L1B, EAC will carry out both a Notional and a Proposed Energy Assessment to ensure that the final project specification for insulation and heating elements are all considered to obtain a complaint Building Regulation application.
